Worldbuilding is full of references to things that already exist elsewhere in the setting. A character visits a city, an organization owns a vessel, an event takes place at a location, or a document mentions a person.

Gazette Builder lets those references become part of the connected Gazette without forcing you to manage WordPress URLs by hand.

Write the Entry name naturally in semantic markup:

[[Syrtis Major]]

When Gazette Builder finds a matching published and release-eligible Entry, it presents that reference as a working link to the full article.

The important part is that the source remains readable and portable. You are referencing the Entry, not a particular WordPress URL.

Semantic references can also point to content that has not been written yet. A reference such as:

[[Amsterdam Club]]

can remain unresolved until the Amsterdam Club Entry is eventually created. Once a unique matching Entry exists, Gazette Builder can resolve the reference automatically without requiring the original article to be rewritten.

That makes semantic references useful for large, evolving worlds where articles are added over time.
