The city of Frederick is divided into two major sections. The southern walled section is known as the Port District. It houses about 8,500 of the city's inhabitants. The northern section is called the Morgan Plains District. It houses 25,600 of the city's inhabitants.

The Wharf District

Frederick is at the western end of the Thebian Sea, the largest land-locked water area in Metaphaze. It is unique of all water areas in that it has no indigenous water races in it. The wharves of Frederick's Port District are busy with traffic both coming and going to the eastern city of Richmond.

Frederick: Economy

Frederick is part of the Northern Passage a trade route across the Great Desert of Acirema. Both a water as well as land route pass through Frederick.

Its main export is rum.

Its main imports are flax and candles.

Frederick: The Races

Frederick has a population mixed by the great trade routes the pass through the city. The majority of the population is human, with a fine mixture of all the other races of the world.

"Great Auction House" or "GAH", located in the Morgan Plains District handles much of the livestock traded in the city.

Government

Frederick is part of the Anasazi Empire of Central Acirema. Combined with the other cities of Savanna, Georgetown, Montreal and New Orleans, Frederick is the eastern-most city of this alliance. From it's eastern position, Frederick provides security for that region of the empire. The city itself is governed by a Governor of Frederick, Malcolm Headsplitter, an ancient dwarven diplomat.

The Palace of Frederick - located in the Port District of Frederick. It houses the many offices of the Anasazi government in this region.
