This is a real book. I've included it in my library for those of you who are browsing and would like to find tomes of great knowledge here.
The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Arthurian Legends, by Ronan Coghlan, published by Element Books, Ltd, 1993. (ISBN 1-85230-428-6)
This book was found in the library. It is a very complete index, alphabetized listing of characters, places and events related to the Arthurian sagas. It is 254 pages and also contains a bibliography of Arthurian literary works (for the serious student). From the perspective of inspiring the imagination, this book is a serious contender for my favorite. If you are looking for a meaningful name for a character in your campaign, or that new fellow or gal you just rolled up, this book is FULL of 'em.
It has a price of $29.95 on the inside cover, although I could swear I saw a paperback for $14 in the bookstore... probably should have bought it!
