"A REVIEW: The Dictionary of Imaginary Places"

This is a real book. I've included it in my library for those of you who are browsing and would like to find tomes of great knowledge here.

REFERENCE

The Dictionary of Imaginary Places, Expanded Edition, by Alberto Manguel & Gianni Guadalupi, published by Harcourt Brace and Company, San DIego, CA, 1987. (ISBN 0-15-626054-9)

The Review

This book is chock full of fantasy places, castles, worlds, creatures, characters, cities, cultures and whatever else you can expect from fantasy and science fiction authors. They have Gulliver's Lilputia, Bilbo Bagins Ring of the Worlds world, OZ as in Dorothy's world with detail maps, it has obscure literature, foreign literature, stuff from the 1800's... ALL in all, 454 pages of IDEAS!

It cost me $18.95 and is three times the size of any TSR book I've ever bought.
