This is chapter 8 from a book about the flags and heraldic devices of Metaphaze. It was written in Venezia, Nekorb, by a man of the cloth, known as Brother Francis. He traveled extensively and gathered the data in this book.
(Pelican) |
|
(Grey Dagger) | Secret Thieves society located in most if not all of the cities of Metaphaze. |
(Stacked Coins) | Another one of the thieves guilds located in various cities of Metaphaze. |
(Split Stacked Coins) | An elite group of the previous thieves guild. |
(Half-moon) | The Half-moon insignia is rumored to be a key to a set of portals in Metaphaze. |
(Initiate) |
All Initiates to the University of Notre Dame, Bruxelles wear the blue-green robe of the initiate and its single gold star over their heart. These fellows will be seen all over Metaphaze on various missions and errands for their masters. They will wear the robes until they are promoted or leave the University for other pursuits. |
(Master) | The Master insignia is worn by the red-robed master wizards who teach at the University of Notre Dame in Eporue. Usually not seen outside of that city in their red-robes, many will sport the double star and loop insignia on their normal robes, a pendant, or other devices in their homes. These are not wizards to be trifled with and will cause great pain for those who defy their abilities with stupidity. |
