Giovanni's is located near the wharf district. A wooden structure two floors tall, it gives the impression of being a small establishment. Once inside, the visitor is treated to an elaborate maze of halls and rooms that extend back into the central core of the city block, taking up almost the entire block with more than 40 rooms.

The owner/operator is Mulligan Vetrone', a plump, red-faced fat human. While his exterior exhudes excess, he is far from fat and lazy. His excitable nature and great strength are soon revealed as he moves about his establishment, interested in everything that goes on under his roof.
