Description:The Windemere is a premier set of lodgings for the best of guests. Its rooms are expensive and well worth the extra money it costs to stay there. The main building is a mix of stone and wood structure, giving the exterior a fine architectural style to it. A large front porch stretches across the main entrance to the inn with a wide set of doors bracketed by smartly dressed attendants. Inside the main doors, is a large room with a counter at the far side where attendants take the customer requests for lodgings and after collecting the gold required for a stay, whistle for another attendant who takes the customer to their room. Customers and others alike will find a good time in the large public house outside the main building where food and drink are heaped upon the customers in great quantities and at exhorbinate prices. Proprietor:The owner/operator is unknown. The Windemere has a private entity who receives all monies from the facilities and who that individual is, no one has been able to determine. |
