Iron Forge Inn

Description:

A dwarven delight, this facility is carved out of pure granite. The halls and rooms of this inn are hundreds of years old and offer the visitor a comfortable regulated stay year-round. The inn has a large common room that serves as a tavern and halls radiate off from this leading to no less than 40 private rooms. Because it is carved from stone, from outside, it appears nothing more than a large hillock with a fine small entryway.

Proprietor:

The owner/operator is Firebeard Twohammer, a wild eyed, sun burnished, old dwarven fighter. His idea of fun is to arm wrestle willing guests with non-magical strengths. Shaking a guests hand, he can tell instantly if their strength is genuine, or magically enhanced. His challenge goes out to anyone who stays at his inn. As reward for beating him at his own game, the guest stays free for the night. If Firebeard wins, he jokingly pats the looser on the back and says "Guess you'll haf ta pay me to stay here tonite" and then offers them a consolation drink of ale or beer.
