Description:One of only a few of these unique tree-inn's, the Grizzley's Mark Inn derives its name from the height at which the inn itself is built in the treetop of the large tree that supports it. Guests enter a small chamber at the base of the tree and ascend elven stairs that are cut such that they spiral around the heart of the tree, without violating the heart-wood. If one stops in the stairs and listens, they can hear the beat of the tree's heart. The structure of the inn, is spread amongst the branches of the top of the tree, over 100 feet above ground. Proprietor:The owner, Esmeranda Holingtale, a tall lithe elven woman, some say is a powerful mage, graces the rooms of her inn with a presence that seems to take men's very breath away. Women are also impressed with her beauty and grace. She is tall for an elven woman, with green-blond hair, and emerald green eyes, big and round. Her favorite gowns are whispy and fluid, revealing enough of her body to impress, without being vulgar. Many people who stay at the inn say she is like a ghost, being unable to determine where she may appear from next. |
