Bristol has a protected harbor that is entered through a gateway that is formed from
the drawbridge complex for the castle Shandyrot. Tolls can be collected from traffic
coming or going. In addition, the port can be closed simply by lowering the drawbridge.
The wharf district itself is divided into two areas. The castle docks are restricted to incoming and outgoing traffic for the castle only. Any other traffic is highly discouraged and frowned upon. The other area, divided into north and south, compromises the city wharf area. The small north side caters to shipping and the manufacturing of ships. Most of the traffic is limited to supplies to support these purposes. The south docks feed the commerce of the city and are the busiest of all the dock areas.
