Bristol is governed by the incumbent queen of Dnalgne. She is Queen Mary Victoria of Rochester. Holding the royal charter, she is sole sovereign of all the lands known as Dnalgne. The royal guard is administered by a stout ancient elven warrior called Timeless Barrington the General. The royal coffers are maintained by Knight William the Bailiff. Using the feudal land management system, the lands are all owned by the Queen, who grants them to her loyal knights, earls, counts and barons. Each landowner owns land through fealty to either a greater knight, or the queen herself. The concept of fealty produces the strongest military tie known in Metaphaze. Any threat to the kingdom can be dealt with efficiently and quickly by a massing of troops all of whom have been sworn to someone higher in the heiarchy. The queen maintains her own loyal assembly of honored knights, known as the Knights of the Dragon. All of whom sport some type of dragon on their devices. Twelve positions of honor are reserved for the best in all the land. Ten of these positions are presently filled, with two open positions. The knights of the dragon call Wurtenmanstoe as their home chapel and can be found there often in prayer when they are in town.
