| Beast Castle is located on the island nation of Mandibar. It is
located on the eastern small island known as Belle Island. It is the only castle not
under the tyrant ruler's control. Its island location leaves it both protected from
his direct attack as well as isolated from most traffic. It is also considered a
destination that is not for the normal traveler and a trip that should be well planned
for in advance.  The castle is staffed by an
eccentric group of misfits. The master of the castle is a large benevolent old
fighter. He tends to be brusk to newcomers but given enough time, warms up quickly.
It is rumored that the castle is haunted. Visitors who overnight in the castle
tell tales of a ghost who visits in the middle of the night and quickly
whisks away when
they awaken. |
