The palisade fence surrounding the gardens and unique structure that houses the facilities and rooms of the Timbuktu as unique an experience as any traveler would want to have. Parrots of every color roost in trees and within the great room of the inn. The bamboo covered walls are unique decorative extensions of the gardens outside the building. Hallways lead off the great room to small bungalows nestled in the gardens, providing separate buildings for the paying guests.

The owner/operator is Toucan Sam, Esq., a dapper, efficient human who has the reputation of being like an elephant, he never forgets a face. He wears a pinstripe, custom tailored suit when working and is always the courteous host. He has a highly trained staff who see to the needs of any guest in the establishment.
