The Dashing Prince

Description:

This inn is a highly decorated, elaborately designed monstrosity. The rooms are gaudy and impractical. It's one redeeming factor is that it is cheap to stay there. Built long ago, for a purpose separate from that which it is now in use for, "The Dashing Prince" is a fair to middling inn for travelers to hang their hat in and rest for a night. It sports 48 rooms on three floors.

The inn is famous for a brand of dwarven beer known as H&P for the two owners who brew the beer themselves.

Proprietor:

The owner/operators are Alphonso Harem and Izak Pothis, two dwarven merchants, turned entrepreneurs. Along with the inn, they also run a fairly well equipped beer brewery located out back of the inn. Aside from the beer used in serving their guests, there is a limited amount of H&P that is shipped to other locations.

Alphonso Harem is a red-bearded, rough-housing jovial dwarf. His favorite sport is tossing a shot-putt and the numerous dents in the floor-boards are testament to the numerous times this event occurs inside the establishment.

Izak Pothis is a quiet, graying dwarf, with an eye for accounts and books. He will on occasion allow himself to be drawn into a shot-putt match or other games.

Both dwarves can be found on most evenings tending bar. One or the other, with equal abandon will take monies for rooms and escort their guests personally up to their room, carefully scrutinizing the beds and condition before handing over the keys to the room to their new guests.
