Lucinda's Mehican Hangout

Description:

This small inn and restaurant is famous for its fine food and quiet location. With only 6 rooms, it fills early in the evening. The light colored bricks and arched doorways give it a very unique appearance.

The tables are bare wood, sturdy in construction, the bar a deep reddish color. In early evening, hanging lanterns are lit over the dining area and a Mehican band, with guitars, drums and castanets filters through the restaurant.

Proprietor:

The owner/operator is Jose Jose, a small, wiry grey-haired, skinny man, in his mid 60's who has enormous amounts of energy. His typical evening includes operating the bar, making several rounds of the tables to speak to and meet his customers, and on no less than two occasions a night, jumping onto the bar and dancing jigs as the music moves him.
