Mont Frisco castle is home to the DeFoe family of Dnalgne. Count Marshall Defoe, son of Pierce Defoe Sr, his wife, son Pierce Defoe (see the Player Character pages), daughter Genevive Defoe and son Lance Defoe are charged by her majesty, Queen of Dnalgne with the defense of the eastern side of the great swamp. Maintenance of the road from Cranston to Tincturn Abbey also fall under the Count's responsibilities.

The castle sits atop a large mound overlooking the road that runs north to south from Grimsby to Cranston. It is notable as one of the biggest privately controlled castles in the land of Dnaglne speaking well of the reputation of Marshall Defoe in the eyes of the queen.

The castle has a great ramp that leads to the front gate and provides entry to the castle courtyard where stables are positioned to provide guests easy access to and from the castle. The castle garrison is housed in the great Garrison tower immediately behind the gatehouse and are positioned for immediate deployment to defend this section of the castle.

Behind the garrison tower is the castle Great Hall. This is the main social center of the castle for normal daily routine activities. Important guests to the castle will find their private quarters in the attached Hampstead Tower while servants and lessor visitors are given straw mats and plenty of space in the main hall. A great kitchen is situated below the main hall and is designed to serve feasts with hundreds in attendance. Normal daily routines see most of the garrison troops through the hall in shifts as well as the feeding of all the guests in residence in the castle.

The castle resident Wizard is an elderly mage by the name of Viz and the great tower that bears his name is his sole domain. Only wizards of like ilk will know the aspects of his craft.

Overflow guests are housed in the Visitor's Hall which contains a number of private chambers, less impressive than those in Hampstead's Tower, but all the same in level of comfort. Servants and similar folk are housed in a smaller hall on the ground floor of this hall.

Hunter's Tower is a set of three attached dwellings. These provide housing for the second half of the castle garrison and the castelleon and his family.

Montgomery's Tower also houses a small garrison, but is primarily residence for the craftsmen and other workers who live in the castle.

The main keep is the domicile of William Defoe and his family. A private hall and rooms along with storage rooms and other ammenities fill out the final structure in the castle.
