South-Eastern Eporue

Map of South-eastern Eporue

The great city-states of Eporue can be found along the southern edge of the continent. Separated from the northern domain of the dictator Napoleon by the Cairn Mountains. The southern city states are among the most powerful in the world of Metaphaze.  This region is also an area where magic is concentrated in a variety of forms both natural as well as man-made.  This region has a high occurance of wizard towers and other magical constructs, some thought to be as powerful as the magics that protect Bruxelles.   Some places contain magics that are as dangerous as Bruxelle's are protective.

The terrain of southern Eporue is gently rolling, with a few hilly regions around Bruxelles and along the coast south of Reims. Gentle breezes from the Cificap Sea create a mild climate that is very beneficial to the farming communities of the region.  The area is well established as a farming mecca of Metaphaze and sports the highest density of farms and rural communities of any region in Metaphaze.

The western road entering the territory is protected by the castle Kebenham. This fortress is an outlying center that not only fields a unique military contingent, but it also acts as a center for trade as traders travel the road. Travelers reaching this point know that west of this site, the road grows dangerous and will require diligence in their own regard to see their travels safely through, while east of this point, the protection of the three cities extends out in the form of added patrols and domestication of the wilds.

The northern road into this region is protected by the dwarven enclave known as Dvorak Stronghold.  Due to encroachments by the Baron's troops from the north, farms along this coast are limited and the Stronghold troops find their work cut out for them.
